SMART AUYL - BUGYLY

Karaganda Region, Shet District, Nurataldy Rural District, Shopa Village

Preliminary materials describe housing and social, production and environmental infrastructure. Facility components, land plots and participation terms are being clarified.

Select an area for BUGYLY

A territory link allows a substantive proposal to be submitted. A standard catalogue facility does not become an approved BUGYLY facility solely because the territory is selected.

Other territorial projects will be added as materials are confirmed. The prospective network is presented in territory analysis.

How SMART AUYL Works

SMART AUYL is a comprehensive project to create a modern rural development model that supports a decent quality of life, a sustainable economy, nature conservation, human capital development and stronger national traditions.

The project envisages a new rural ecosystem combining comfortable housing, social infrastructure, domestic production, agriculture, entrepreneurship, creative industries, environmental solutions and modern digital technologies.

Project Goal

The main goal is to create a modern, safe, clean and economically self-sufficient rural community where people can live comfortably, access education and healthcare, work, develop their own businesses and retain their connection to national culture.

Concept Structure

Modules for Comprehensive Development

Environment and Quality of Life

SMART AUYL Green Belt

Conceptual visualisation of an ecological park with walking paths and a pond

The project also supports the principles of the nationwide Taza Qazaqstan initiative. At the fourth meeting of the National Kurultai on 14 March 2025, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasised that caring for cleanliness through this initiative should become part of every citizen's daily life.

Akorda · address of 14 March 2025

A large ecological park is envisaged around SMART AUYL, with extensive planting of trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants adapted to the region's climate. The eco-park is intended to form a protective green belt around the community, help improve air quality, reduce dust and wind exposure, create a favourable microclimate and preserve the natural environment.

Public Spaces and Resident Participation

The eco-park is planned to include walking and cycling paths, family recreation areas, sports grounds, children's spaces, avenues, small ponds, and areas for environmental education and community events. Particular attention will be given to planting local tree species and using water efficiently through drip irrigation and automated watering systems.

Residents, schoolchildren, entrepreneurs and community organisations will be able to take part in annual environmental activities, tree planting and care of green spaces. The eco-park is thus intended to become both a place for recreation and part of SMART AUYL's environmental culture, civic responsibility and sustainable development.
