SMART AUYL Green Belt

The project also supports the principles of the nationwide Taza Qazaqstan initiative. At the fourth meeting of the National Kurultai on 14 March 2025, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasised that caring for cleanliness through this initiative should become part of every citizen's daily life.

A large ecological park is envisaged around SMART AUYL, with extensive planting of trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants adapted to the region's climate. The eco-park is intended to form a protective green belt around the community, help improve air quality, reduce dust and wind exposure, create a favourable microclimate and preserve the natural environment.
Public Spaces and Resident Participation
The eco-park is planned to include walking and cycling paths, family recreation areas, sports grounds, children's spaces, avenues, small ponds, and areas for environmental education and community events. Particular attention will be given to planting local tree species and using water efficiently through drip irrigation and automated watering systems.
Residents, schoolchildren, entrepreneurs and community organisations will be able to take part in annual environmental activities, tree planting and care of green spaces. The eco-park is thus intended to become both a place for recreation and part of SMART AUYL's environmental culture, civic responsibility and sustainable development.
